Thanks for all the replies, looks like ford is the only choice left for newer/larger gas MH
Any body know if ford can offer Allison tranny? or Just their 5 speed torque master? I guess I will just have to go diesel.

Yes, Ford IS the only gasser under NEW motor homes.

Since Allison is no longer part of GM, I think they would be happy to sell their trannies to Ford, just as they do to many other chassis builders.

AFAIK, "Ford", which is really a separate company called Detroit Chassis, has chosen not to offer an Allison in their F53 MH chassis.

IF you go diesel , then you are most likely to find it mated to an Allison

And add to this...the Ford RV F53 and commercial F59 stripped chassis' are assembled by Detriot Chassis.
Detroit Chassis

It is probably not common knowledge that Ford contracts the assembly out to a vendor...but these products are still Ford branded, so I doubt they would offer an Allison.
