I have an A tasca 29R on a workhorse chassis and the rearend is leaking. It doesn't leak enough that it drips on the ground when I am stopped but it is vary apparant that it is leaking. Workhourse wants to weld it. It is leaking where the axel goies in to the rear end housing. What are your thoughts on welding it??

If your saying that the leak is where the axel tube enters the rearend (center section) than I don't see why welding would be a problem. I believe the two tubes are pressed into the center section and spot welded during the manufacturing process. Never heard of an axel assembly leaking like that.

An option is to contact a manufacturer, such as Dana, to see if they agree.

WCC is your sole warranty provider. Please check with your service center first.

Today I had the rear end welded it looks kind of ugly but, you have to crawl under the coach to see it so its not a big problam. I just hope that nothing else goes wrong because of the welding. My fingers are crossed.
