Noticed that some oil on right rear hubcap that seemed to leak from the axle. I pulled the Chinese hub caps and could not see any leakage around the axle cap, mebbe I lost 1/2 ounce of oil, I guess me pushing over the Pa. mountains put a strain on something..

Hi, Check your axle for overfill. Ref. W22 axle seal leak. Overfill on May 1, 2007. Since I have drained the axle to the proper fluid level on flat level ground, I have had no furthur seal leakage or problems. Happy Motoring. John

I observed oil streaking from the center hub out onto the tires. The outside seal was leaking and this is fixed rather quickly with a silicone type sealant I believe.

Keep an eye on it in case it gets any worse. If you come to the beach in December we have a WCC service center if a repair is called for.

I had mine done 3 weeks ago with just the silicone sealant they use only. My bad, only one side was leaking, thought I'd do the right thing and redo both, they both leaked again. Right now I waiting for them to finish using the gasket and silicone.

I'm sort of wondering why you couldn't drive your RV to a service area. I expect just as much oil runs out while being towed as when driving.

One of mine was done a couple of months ago with only a bead of silicone sealant, and no gasket....seems good so far.
