I'd like to get a locking gas cap for my W22, but I know that the emission systems are very sensitive if you don't have the right cap. Anyone have a model #, maybe from NAPA?

This has worked in the past I believe. Try a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier - Locking Cap.

See if this WH PN 22720375 is available from a dealer. If so, about $50.

For my 03 W22 chassis I have been using a Stant 10506 locking gas cap. Stant is a major MFG for OEM fuel caps.
Happy Motoring

If that gas sucker is an 8.1L Chevy Vortec. Tell the counter man you have a Chevy Silverado.. Same year and engine size, and need a SINGLE gas cap.
NOTE: DO NOT loose the original.. My locking cap failed (the lock failed) after five years. I need a new one.

That's not a hard and fast rule. The caps are the same as they were back in 2001. Go with the recommended part numbers that were offered previously.
Looks like (Stant) 10506 or 11506 should fit.

Went to NAPA--the Stant 10506 cross-referenced to their 703-1643, 11506 did not cross-reference to a gas cap, but to some other part, so perhaps Dan L mis-remembered the number. The NAPA cap was $14.

Did the 703-1643 fit? Oemy will probably add it to his parts list on his website.

Yes, the 703-1643 fits, but I haven't driven it yet. I'm taking the coach back to the factory on Friday for a few minor warranty fixes, so will find out then if the computer likes it! I'll report back then.

my stant 11506 looks similar to the one in the picture in drivers post #7. that is the number that was on the package when i bought it and copied the number to my logbook. my cap has 2 tits sticking out from the sides 180 degrees apart like in drivers picture. some of the other caps have threads.

Yesterday, I bought a NAPA 703-1643 (cross referenced to Stant 10506) that fits well on my 2006 W-22. The picture that DriVer put up is the exact cap that fits our units, and yes, the NAPA 703-1643 also fits a Cavalier.
NAPA didn't show an cross reference to a Stant 11506 on their system.
Just FYI in case OEMY wants to update his fitment parts #'s on his site.

Just got back from dropping off the coach. No "Check Engine" light or other message from computer, so the NAPA 703-1643 works fine. Also, I went on the Stant web site and put in part #11506 and it took me to #10506, so they have no 11506. Probably, they changed part numbers since Dan L bought his cap.
