Looking for P32 Chassis Parts

I told a friend I'd try helping him find a source for front end suspension/steering parts for his 1996 P32 chassis. Is it correct that P32 & P30 are the same chassis?
He called GMC and they told him they no longer provide parts for his chassis. He took it in for an alignment and was told he was wasting his money unless he fixed some other items first. I'm not sure exactly what, something like pivot joints and a few other things. Not ball joints.
I told him I'd post it here and see if anyone has some ideas as to a source for the parts.

As a side note, the alignment shop told him they are starting to see a lot of P32's with front end wear problems now that their approaching the 75K mile range. They wouldn't tell him where they get their parts.

My local auto parts store carries and can get my P30 parts.I have also purchased a couple items from my local chevy dealer.Im still trying to figure out the difference between a P30 and a P32.I find that places like auto zone and pep boys dont have a clue wiyh the P chassis parts.They cant even pull up P30 on the computer.Just really found that out last weekend when my alternator took a dump and tried to find a new one.

Mike, thank's for the reply. Local parts stores in our area, northern Utah have not been of any help. Are you referring to a chain retailer like Checkers, etc.
