That's right they said that was the replacement, and the fix. The new ones are supposed to be different than the originals ???

You were right JON BRAZEL, I'm on my way home after wintering in Fla. Guess what I have an exaust leak coming from the drivers side donut. I tried to tighten , bolts were tight. I,m hoping it will make it home without getting to loud, still got another 800 miles.

Hope this helps!
Just had both donuts replaced and the cross brace added to my 04 Vacationer because they were both loose, with the left side leaking.
p/n 15170285 @ $62.50 each
R&R and weld x-brace $187.50
Total $312.60

Looks like I was told a story the first time I had the donuts replaced. I am now told workhorse doesn't have a fix. They did offer a different tork setting to try. I'm thinking if the problem persits, I will check into a set of headers, hopefully some would be available.

When my 8.1 engine was replaced at 18,000. miles they put new workhorse donuts in. One side lasted 1,200. miles. Went to Napa in Mistic Conn. Matched it with a thicker one they had. Been trouble free for 12,000. miles. And no loosness. The Napa part cost $7.

stearn, May I please ask who at Workhorse said that they do not have a fix for the exhaust leak at the donut connection?

Thanks.

The service mgr at the place I have our MH to be repaired, said he talked to someone at workhorse. I had told him I thought workhorse had fix for this problem. The shop where it's at is an authorized wh repair shop. What ever that's worth!

Do you by any chance have the NAPA part #?

I just had my donuts replaced about two weeks ago and I now have an exhaust leak. I don't know yet if the donut is the problem, will be diagnosing today.

Thanks,

Bruce
