Loose Water Pump Bolt

I changed the oil in the rig today and while I was under the rig I did my "look see" inspection. Low and behold I see this bolt sticking out. I reached up and give a couple of turns and it fell out. It is the top bolt on the passengers side that holds the water pump in place. How long it has been that way I don't know. Screwed it back in and used a 15mm socket to tighten.

Thanks! But now I will have to go out in the cold and check mine. By the picture, it looks like the bold worked itself out. Should it have lock tight on it?

Oh yes... a little red Loctite

I don't believe it was ever installed correctly.

Probably an inadvertent ommission during the build---
Dad gumit, now I have to crawl under my rig and look!! Especially since I'm leaving for Gulfport this weekend.

My next project is to center the stainless steel wheel covers on the drive wheels so they stay centered. I'll probably report on that while in Gulfport. I can't believe that Newmar or Workhorse, who ever provides the "Simulators" can't resolve that one.
