Hello:
I'm new to the motorhome lifestyle, and new to this site. Just wondering if anyone could advise me where to find all the grease fittings for my workhorse chassis under my 39.5 foot Presidio motorhome, or maybe a chart depicting where to find each grease fitting. I have the 330 Cummings engine.
After reading many of the blogs/messages, it appears one needs to be very careful, even if taking it to a quality shop to ensure the mechanic finds and properly greases each fitting.
I hope to take her down this week for an oil change/lube/replacing of the fuel filter(s), and check of the radiator coolant acidity, so any help will be appreciated!!
Thanks!
Dale

There is a free Workhorse chassis guide for all registered owners at www.workhorse.com
It shows the lube points and much more.

Welcome Mcplaidpiper,
There are lots of Workhorse knowledgeable people here that can help you with lots of things.
Having said that, I don't ever remember a Workhorse Chassis here with a 330 HP Cummins engine. Maybe this is something new?

I think you might have a Freightliner chassis.

thanks for the replies!
I will double check on the HP, but I know it is a Workhorse chassis, and it has an ISC 8.3L Cummings engine. I bought this from the original owner who registered it with WH; I have been trying to get in touch with WH for the past several days to change the registration into my name so I could access this manual but have not been successful...I will try again this week.
I checked the Workhorse Owners Manual and it only provides 'general' information regarding grease points, and refers me to the 'Chassis Guide.' I was in hopes of finding someone on here who might know the total grease fittings just so I sound somewhat knowledgable when I'm talking to the mechanic tomorrow. At 25k miles it looks like I also need to change the transmission fluid according to the ownere manual...
I hope to have that chassis guide by the next oil change...
Thanks again for your responses!

You can change the registration yourself online. All you need is the chassis VIN and go to the website.

George, I'm not sure why you would think that.

MCPLAIDPIPER: You have a Workhorse R-series diesel pusher chassis, which were built in 3 GVWRs ranging from 28,000 to 32,000 pounds. The chassis was first built using Cummins, and the later models were produced using CAT C-7 engines. Mandalay built quite a few Persidio coaches on this chassis, but they also used an FCCC chassis.
Welcome to iRV2.com!
There is a link to the chassis guide in the stickies at the top of this forum. Any good heavy duty truck shop should be able to perform all your PM services, if you don't find a Workhorse ASC near you.
