Thanks. The reason I asked is because I had new tires installed. when I was quoted the M&B was included, but I noticed they were installing them with out the balance, when I asked I was told they did not have the right adapter . so I bit my tongue and went to a local Les shawb (have not had good luck there ever!) I watched them balance them to zero and went on my way. I went for a ride up I-5 this weekend and and now I have a vibration, it gets worse the faster I go. now I reading about trying equal, Dyana bead, some kind of liquid or these wheel centering shims because of wheel run out. External Centering Sleeve reduce truck tire vibration and wear. I like the wheel shims because they center the wheels on the hub. I took a feeler gage and checked the hub to the wheel and the one I checked is off .015 from the top to the bottom. so what I'm saying is when there mounting the wheel it's hanging from the studs and the weight is pulling down and the wheel is not completely centered but I'm not sure .015 is enough to feel. I guess I'm going to get the balance checked from another place. Any ideas?
