Showed the wife this funny looking black round gizzy that looked like maybe it belonged in a chair or table leg.Nope, says she. She don't know from nothin'. Well, another one showed up near the undercarriage two days later. Then we up and moved and WHOA!!. The chassis batteries wouldn't put out!. Checked 'em out and found one miserable looking battery with the whole top lid blown loose on three sides and missing two of the "caps" that sealed the cells. On one hand six years is not bad service. On the other, now I know how to water the remaining sealed battery. The downside is there is lots of acid that needs to be washed away. Just passin' it on. Good luck to all!!

In my ownership experience I have been through 3 chassis batteries and 1 set of coach batteries.

I found that my previous coach batteries were getting so hot that I couldn't touch them and they were consuming a lot of water.

The automotive battery when I changed it was bulging. I replaced the original battery with a Delco. The replacement battery had a bad cell and I got a new Delco battery under warranty to repalce the 2nd.

All is well with our batteriues at this time.
