Makes it back to Florida from at short 2 week vacation to the Blue Ridge Parkway

Outside of a few small hitches, it was a very enjoyable vacation, just too short

First problem, the wipers decided to not know where to park. Sometimes they would park in the middle, sometimes they would park on the outside, but they never want to go back to the inside where they should park

Next problem, the automatic steps broke on our last overnight stop before making it back to Florida. The last problem, the Rock Guard came lose on one side and was dragging the ground.

Explanation for the C clamps, one giant C clamp was used to hold the steps in and one small C clamp held the Rock Guard in place.

Maybe I should be thankful we only made a 1400 mile trip instead of our usual 5000 to 6000 mile trip

All in all it was a good trip, the engine performed very well, no brake problems

This is the second long trip since installing the UP, the first trip I really couldn't determine any noticeable increase in performance, but this year I can say there is definitely an increase in performance. The engine had plenty of power even in 5th gear, and the gas mileage had a significant increase. I'm very happy with the UP upgrade.

I will probably start a new thread either on this Forum or the Winnebago Forum about the windshield wipers parking problem.

Ron

I'll be watching that myself as I have had the workhorse wipers won't stop issue that I think I fixed by filling in the back side of the male and female connecting plugs with gasket silicone and wrapping the connection in saran wrap, but the wipers will not park at the base of the windshield (have a one piece windshield) they stop at the bottom and then jump up 8 in. or so. Very annoying.

I didn't realize Workhorse had anything to do with the windshield wipers?

Aside from the stalk they don't really but the service center will most often fix em' if they aren't working.

One other system might be a horn.

UP = Ultra Power. You will find dozens of references to it here, an Installer/Dealer (or two) is/are member(s) here.

If and when I get around to upgrading my Workhorse.. That's the one I'm considering.
