Anyone have the NAPA part number for the larger oil filter that takes you to 7 Qt. capacity on a 2004 W-22 or can I just ask for the larger oil filter for the 8.1?
Thanks

I believe Wix makes the filters for Napa and Purelator. The Wix number is 51060 for a 1qt and 51794 for the 2qt filter. The 2 qt will give you just over a 7qt total system capacity.

Happy Motoring

Thanks to all. My understanding is that the standard filter gave a capacicy of 6.5 qts. and the 1 qt. filter gives 7 qts. So the 2 qt. should be 8. Am I missing something here?

Pete, I like the NAPA Gold 1060 (about 7/8th of a quart) because it allows me to dump in the extra (remnant) 1/2 quart of oil. I don't like carrying around 1/2 qt of oil as opposed to a full one!
