The OE battery is a Group 78, 12 volt, maintenance free unit.

Mike, your photo is of a TOP POST battery. Just to avoid any confusion I am guessing he is going to need a SIDE POST battery. I have seen many of the newer aftermarket batteries that are built with BOTH types of terminal connectors, but I believe they are a little more expensive.
Good Luck - Glenn

Glenn, You are absolutely correct. Side posts are essential. I'm wondering if the battery that we are seeing in the picture doesn't have dual post setups not visible on the back of the battery! That said, I don't believe my Delco battery has both top and side but we've seen those types of batteries in the past.
