On my Workhorse I have a horn button that pulls out from the steering wheel. There is only a single black wire attached to a connector on the horn button (more like a metal plate) and a lever type of compression tab to keep it in place in the steering wheel. My horn blows without touching the horn button so I'm trying to learn the principles. Can someone explain the concept that Workhorse uses for their Horns on the 2002 P32 Chassis? Also, where is the horn relay located? Thank you.

Steve

Your horn button is nothing more than a simple switch... It either completes the ground circuit or the hot circuit.

I suspect you have a short in the wire coming to the horn button.
