Need help with A/C compressor part number

Hi all:

This query is specific to a 1999 Win Itasca Suncruiser with a 7.4L 454 on a P32 chassis.

I need to order a new AC compressor because the one I have is making noise like a bearing is going out. It only does it sometimes.

The one that is in there is a 58950 but don't know the manufacturer.
I found one at www.discountacparts.com and it says it fits 1996-2004 Winnebago all models with Delco compressor.
The part number is 60-00894-NC manufactured by Delphi.

Can anyone tell me if this is a direct replacement?

Thanks, Carl

UFO:

Thanks for the links. However, I can't find the number for the one that's in my MH. I can find it online but don't know if it's specifically for my RV model.

Two of the ones listed have the number 88950, pretty close to 58950, I wonder if that is a clue?

Found this in a google search:
Murray Climate Control 88950 - New Problem Solver A/C Compressor ...

Here's a 1997 GMC C1500 Pickup RWD Murray Climate Control - New Problem Solver A/C Compressor; Can Use In Place Of 58950. Part #: 88950.

Thanks for the info guys. Just returned from a 4 day stay at Lake Patagonia State Park.
Before we left, I installed a toggle switch on the dash for the cooling fan that's in front of the AC radiator so I could turn it on whenever I needed it. The AC compressor is still making noise so I decided to take it back to the shop that "fixed" it last time. We'll see how it works when I get it back.
