Max, I have a 2004 Workhorse so I think the seal will be the same..
The part number is 308-0866 made by Stemco, Longview, TX. Tel 800 527-8492.
They show competitive substitutes,
SKF (CR)28745, 28758.
National 307150A,417158,455355,
Navistar 469844c1,594965c1
I did try the National 307150A seal and it was a smaller ID and required removal of a sleeve. I was short on time so used the old seal until I can get one from Stemco..
Hope this helps...
Jack

Thanks Husky. I'll try the Stemco seals. Workhorse has messed me up so bad , I'll do it myself. I had a noise in the front end and they kept it for two weeks. They suggested I change the bearings and seals. Eleven hundred bucks later, I took it home, 15 miles away. A week later I was changing the air filter, and the right front wheel was covered in oil (the inside of the wheel). I took it back and they said it had a "wear sleeve" on the axle, so they pulled it off and put a different seal on the hub. That was May '06. I got home from Maine, about 2000 miles later, and the left front was leaking. They re-did that wheel, and said they only warranty their work for 6 months-- and I was out by a few days. They said because I only went 2000 miles they would cover it. Now, the right front is leaking again-- not badly, but I'm going to order new seals and do it myself.
The orginal noise I found out on my own-- It was the grill howling at highway speeds. I fixed that (go to Newmar Owners, type in "howling noise" in the find box) myself. Newmar sent me a new '04 grill as a courtesy jesture-- they are interchangeable, but I had already re-installed my grill which I had modified and repainted. I saw an '04 Mountain Aire in Maine that had the grill which has the leading edges of the fins bent downward about 20 degrees or so, and I surmised it was done that way to change the resonance frequency. Newmar techs denied a problem with the '02 grill.
Thanks again'

$1,100 in changes and 2 returns. I would be looking for some money back and then look for a different shop or like you DIY it.
I would also be asking Workhorse for some help as it is an "Authorized Workhorse Service Center" right.

Max, if they removed the wear sleeve I don't think you can use the stock Stemco seal any longer.. I think you would either have to reinstall the wear sleeve and use the Stemco or use the replacement seal from SKF 307150A that has a smaller ID for use once the sleeve is removed....

Thanks Husky Jack. They told me they removed the wear sleeve on the right side and put the correct one on-- that is now leaking. I'll remove the hub and measure the axle diameter & the O.D. bore. I'll get right,
Max H
