Anyone have a recommendation for a good tire gage. I am looking for the type with a flexible hose and round dial psi readout. The ones I have found only go up to 60 psi. I would like to have a max of 130 psi. I currently have several different truck type gages but they are all stiff and trying to get the outside wheel on the back checked is a pain.

I use a truck tire stick gauge like this one.

Whenever I stop at a truck tire store I check my gauge against the gauge that the mechanic uses just to make sure that they are both the same.

The gauge reads from 10psi to 150psi. I also carry a Craftsman tank-less air compressor. The compressor goes up to 125 psi.

Thanks for the input. I do have the truck stick one and a few smaller pencil type gauges. The round dial with the flexible recommended by Frontranger was what I was looking for. I actually found a few on the web by Accu-Gage. I have had a problem getting the truck stick gage on the rear dual outside wheel. The valve points to the inside and it is just a hassle trying to get an accurate reading. Is anyone using any type of valve extension on the outside rear wheels? The inside rear dual came with a nice valve extender from the factory that is easy to work with. I wish they had done this on the outside wheels.

I'll ditto what Driver recommended. I got one from NAPA and it is reliable and easy to use. I tried one of the round guages (didn't last long) and then one of the digital stick guages..both from CW. Neither one of them were durable.

I have 3 or 4 but this is the one I'm currently using.

Check tire pressures with digital accuracy.
Heavy-duty metal housing stands up to the rigors of the road. Custom dual chuck for use with dual wheels. Large backlit display reads up to 150 psi. Automatic shut-off for longer battery life. Battery included. 13 1/8'L.

I use valve extender on the outside and front tires to get past the simulators. I used red thread lock to seal them down well. I also picked up the dual flexible tire gauge from CW that allows me to balance the rear tires and fill both at once.

I got it from Camping World last Summer but now I don't see them on Camping World's website.

But it comes up by searching the item number #26452 Heavy Duty Digital Tire Pressure Gauge.

Club Price $19.99

Maybe I just got a bad one, but I bought the same digital gauge last Summer from CW. It worked for a couple of months, then died. The readout became unreliable, reading as high as 285 lbs! Then it would go blank and die completely. Shoulda taken it back to CW but it's a bit of a drive... gas would cost almost as much as the refund! Using one with an analog dial now that I bought at a Pilot. So far so good.

The NAPA manual gauge works each and every time - no batteries required.

I have never met a digital gauge that I have liked.

The manual gauge cost me more than 19.95 but I can't kill the thing.
