You may want to check out the National forum. There are lots of good information there.

Good question about the fans. I was looking at the 08 HR W22's and side by side they had some with electric fans and some without, all W22's, ... ???

Some may have older chassis then others. Newer ones may not have the fans.

I have an 07' - No fans.
I was looking at 08's with and without electric fans.
There may be some older chassis in the stream, but I wouldn't think that would be the case for the number of Monaco's (including HR, Safari) moving through a common line. Especially since we are approaching the 09' model year.
I still haven't found why some have electric fans and some don't. Or if there was a change at a certain block point, why?

Rather than the previous cool pack's stacked coolers and condenser, the new cool pack has coolant, engine oil and transmission coolers built into the single cool pack. The only piece in front of the cool pack is the condenser for the A/C.
Some folks have said that their A/C performance falls off in standing traffic and the remedy there is to engage the MAX A/C setting on the controls. Underway using normal A/C there's plenty of cooling air from the A/C.

Now that National RV is currently 'gone', what kind of dealer support is being offered regarding warranty claims? My local dealer has a few left in stock, but when I saw one brand-new model with a roof that had been leaking and inquired how that would be covered, he told me 'good luck with that!' Nice looking units and super discounted pricing, but sure was concerned about the typical problems that show up on a new RV and no warranty support. (Major items were going to be covered by an after-market warranty company but was told that a leaking roof, for example, would not be covered.) What is your dealer offering?

dealer is offering a partial structural warranty that doesn't amount to much. but is willing to fix obvious things before we buy. going to check it out good before final deal. we are willing to forego the warranty for the big price break. we are paying aprox. 63% of MSRP. some may make a better deal but we are happy. alot of coach for the money. thanks for the input from all. thanks dave

hey, DRIVER; does the new cool pack use the monster that roars behind the radiator? if so what do you think about takeing it off and useing electric fans front and rear. would you not have a killer cooling and AC and more power when you need it most? thanks again DAVE

If one installs electric fans and something goes wrong with the circuits it's likely that the engine will overheat. A mechanically driven fan is far more reliable cooling system component.
Thanks for the question.
