I am thinking of buying a new to me RV with a WH chassis. How can I get a copy of the guide if I do not own it yet.

Thanks

Preston

Symseek, If you go to the very first post from DRIVER you will see a link that will carry you to the Workhorse web site. If you do that and then look at MyWorkHorse you should be able to register and then download the manual that DRIVER has posted. That is the 1999 - 2009 manual. It has your MH in it.

If your criuse control is on the steering wheel and you have a button on the end of your shift lever you have a Ford chassis.

When checking brake fluid quality I read that you can use your multimeter to check for moisture. You put the negative probe on the neg. terminal of the chassie battery. Put the positive probe in the master cylinder without touching the cylinder just the fluid. If the reading is 30 or more its time for a change. Before the recall work on my RV the reading was 17, after the recall work without a special fluid change the reading was 0. Checking contaminents is another story but a visaul look will help the cleare the fluid the less chance of a high amount of contaminents.
