Stabil-AirTM is a fully integrated air suspension system with all components artfully combined to deliver the ride and handling you'd expect in more complex and more expensive air suspension systems. Using advanced design principles and thorough testing, Stabil-AirTM was custom-engineered and custom tuned to perform with only the key components necessary to provide the best ride and handling: New-technology parabolic springs, Outboard-mounted air bags, Patented integral stabilizer bar, Premium custom tuned shock absorbers, and Unique overload protection auxiliary spring.

Additionally, Stabil-AirTM comes with two new features: driver selectable heights and Horizon Leveling logic. Horizon Leveling is the combination of Stabil-AirTM and Firestone IntelliRideTM to make it possible to easily level your motor home at campsites and in parking lots with the push of a button.

There are separate application Stabil-AirTM systems for both the front 8500 GAWF and rear 14,500 GAWR axles.

$6995.99 Installed.

This sys. looks like it could improve the ride, will it come some day with an automatic leveling senser so it doesn't have to be done manually. I put an Air-Lift sys. on a Ford chassis but was always looking for some way of adjusting the bags automatically. I realize this a different suspension sys but auto would always keep coach level going down the road. The Workhorse news letter mentions Horizon Leveling logic could this possibly the auto leveling I'am looking for?--"007"

DriVer, I have been reading the literature on this Stabil-Air kit, as I am interested in adding some type of air suspension to my W22 chassis. Do you know of anyone who has actually installed one of these kits (or something similar); if so, did it improve the ride?

Thanks......Bill

This just in, hot off the presses!

Just want to clarify some information floating around on the IRV2 forums.

The vehicle height is entirely controlled by the Firestone Intelli-Ride electronic system. There are 3 settings - Egress (approx 1.5" lower), Design height, and Elevated (approx .5" higher for campground clearance). The package also contains Firestone's Horizon Leveling to allow the coach to level to the horizon without jacks (3ยบ max depending on vehicle loading).

There is absolutely no manual controls and the system will only drive at design over 5 mph.

More will follow as soon as we get the system kicked off in full production.

That's all I have for you now! Stay tuned for more information about DSP/WCC Stabil-Air System.
