Bill Overall, I'm sorry that you did not get a quicker response to your inquiry. It is my opinion that $60 per 6 Volt battery is just about right and it's worth it.

There should have been many posts in support of your initiative in using or replacing 6 volt batteries. I am using 12 volt batteries and my use of 12 volts was called on the carpet. The prevailing thought about coach boondocking batteries is to go with 6 volt units and 4 work better than 2.

Driver, I use 12 volt only. Wiring is simpler and lighter guage. And easier to find fresh batteries when needed. Good luck!!

I basically use 12 volt batteries because I very rarely if ever boondock. The twelves has served us well in providing enough power to a small inverter which kept our table top fan going all night long.

I have 2 - Group 27s Trojans 12 volt batteries. They just fit.

Should not make a diff in the dash (But it could) if your dash is having display issues and if it is a Workhorse (Or uses the same dash they use) contact their customer service, there was a bad batch of 'em back a few years ago.

Re; house, yes the T-145 will last longer between re-charges. No, I've not upgraded.. Yet.
