New gas fuel filter adapters

Has there been a run on these things? Now that camping season is back, I decided to go ahead & get one in case I need to change out the filter on the road this summer....come to find I can't find the adapter in stock anywhere I checked so far...

Check out this thread: New Workhorse Fuel Filter Adapter. Several years ago, Dale (Oemy) and Husky Jack (OEM Engineering) developed an adapter to replace the expensive fuel filter Workhorse had with the built-in Tee for use on more recent versions of their chassis. The adapter enabled owners to use the less-expensive, more readily available, old-style filter. Workhorse is now producing a similar adapter and they have discontinued the expensive filter with the built-in Tee.

BTW, I got my new Workhorse filter and adapter from Oemy a few months ago.

Point of Order:
Husky Jack = Inventor (necessity being the mother of invention)
OEM Engineering = Mutha (production)
Oemy = (capsule monkey)

Thanks Ed. Does it allow you to replace that filter with the 3 steel lines with something different (cheaper)?

Edit to add ... never mind I saw the other thread with pictures. I've also installed a couple of those already and accused our parts guy of buying aftermarket to save money!

rgreen45, Just buy him a cup of coffee and a sticky bun off the coffee truck and everything will be OK!

I know one thing, I can pick up the phone and run a problem by Jon and he always has time to talk to iRV2 members. Brazel's has been a sponsor here since 2007 making it possible (with others) to keep the home fires burning!

I installed the OEM adapter a while ago. Any reason to switch to the Workhorse adapter?
