Had my third panel installed two weeks ago for LCD failing, went on first trip Tuesday. Nice white vertical line, actually two adjacent lines down the middle of the LCD at the end of the first day. Enough to make an old man want to cry. Called Workhorse today being that my warranty is up later this month. Told them I was willing to live with it as is but if it gets worse than I would want a replacement under warranty. They agreed and noted it in my file. So now I wait and see what transpires.

My advice is: DON'T live with it.

I had my second panel installed in July and it had problems on the way to Yuma. I had a third panel installed at Fisher Chevrolet with no problems. Actia said they thought I had a sticky TRIP button and they replaced it with a new warranty.

I sure am glad I got the old mechanical IP. With my luck, if I had the Actia, it would go bad.

Scan Guage II
that Oemtech has available can be your path toward having a hi-tech display. Give him a shout and see if that might be an option for you and the other folks with non-digital command center equipped IPs.

I like that too. Especially the 7.0MPG at 129MPH.
