I need another set of keys for my ignition and storage compartment. Can I get these made at most any place that can makes keys or can you only get them at a Workhorse Service Center?

I had four sets made at ACE hardware. Should be able to have it done most anywhere. It's the little basement door keys that are a bit harder, he had to really look for that blank.

I would think that any good key shop would have a blank for the ignition key. The storage compartment keys can be harder to find. Most MH dealers should have a good supply of storage blanks on hand.

The Ignition key is a standard GM key blank.

The storage compartments are not Workhorse products and the key is not a workhorse item. I have no clue as to who made the locks but I do know this.

Odds are you can go to any rv dealer and they can hand you a key that will fit. Way too many RV's take the same key for the storage compartments.

My door takes 3 keys. One key, fits the deadbolt, this key changes from rig to rig, a 2nd key fits the striker lock, likewise and a 3rd MASTER key fits the striker lock. IT is master keyed.

But the storage compartments on many rigs take the same key. Check with an RV dealer

or a good Locksmith.

I purchased blanks from my RV dealer and had the keys cut at a locksmith.
