Just joined and already paying dividends. I also have the bad wire syndrome and now have a clear idea of what's going on. It's going in next week to hopefully get the air flow mod. I will also spring for the Taylor wire set on my own dime. Seems worth it to avoid future problems. Even more helpfull was a comment in the wire discussion about a small coolant leak. I've smelled coolant everytime I started up from cold, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Sealed up once engine was up to temp. Looked at the block plug between 3 and 5 and voila! Took a crank on it with a 3/8" socket wrench and no more leak. Was really nervous that I might have had a head gasket problem.

This forum is an incredible resource w/ some very knowlegable people who are willing to share their expertise.
