It's time for new tires. Having read some threads here I decided on Sumitomos because of quality and cost and good a good report from Oemy. I found a place in Surprise Az that has Michelins MT235x80R22.5 XRVs in stock and can get the Sumotoms (245x75x22.5 ST718) within a day. Now I'm looking for price. Anyone know of a good source in the Surprise, Goodyear area or any Phoenix shop??
Thanks

I am getting tires on Fridays at Ted Weins in Las Vegas. I am going with Michelins because I can get a discount thru my employer $2368. out the door. That includes new stems and the mount & balance. That is only $500 over the price I was quoted for Sumitomos. Otherwise I would have gone with Sumitomos. Good Luck JP

Thanks for your reply. It sounds like a really good price. We had the owner of S&S tire speak at our RV club meeting today that I got my quotes from. Prices will be going up and supply is down again. He talked me into the Michelins for quality and since we are pleased with our ride now it will as good or better and we plan to keep the coach. Priced with Equal balance and new 4 1/2" brass stems, disposal etc. Our taxes with city, state, FET and disposal is really high adds about $300 to the price. Good luck and thanks.

I got the new Michelins put on yesterday what a difference in noise and ride I would not think 20,000 miles on tires would make much of a change. Today I just got done removing wheel liners and re-torquing the lug nuts 475 lbs. The part that was when i removed the rear wheel liners the retaining lugs were less than hand tight That was a disaster in the making. This is just a reminder to check your over after have work done for your own safety as well as the safety of others Good Luck JP

One comment on tire balancing. I just install the Counteract balancing beads in my new tires. Great product! I do not put much trust in large tire balancing machines. Most of the time they are out of calibration and just get close. MY 2cents.
