I just had Goodyear G670 tires installed and it handles worse then it use to. I had Michillins and switched to the Goodyear RV tires. The other difference is, after having my motorhome weighed, I went from 95psi in the old tires to 85psi in the new Goodyears. The ride doesn't seem to be as good, plus it's taking constant correction on the steering. It's always taken attention to the steering, but seems worse now. What do you think? Thanks
Brian

As I said in the previous post a rear trac can take care of a lot of the steering issues. But, you also should look at alignment. Again Mike at Brazels RV can give you the specs to take the alignment shops.

The key phrase is "I just had _____ Installed.

I have yet to find a tire installer who properly inflates the tires, It just does not happen. Your tires are either under or over inflated. This WILL affect both ride and handling. for example over inflated tires ride harder so you feel the bumps more. Under inflated tires "Squirm" more and can "Dance" from side to side, making the drive much more... Interesting.

Both blow out faster

Get our rig weighed (all wheels) and adjust pressure as per the, in this case, goodyear web site as per the load on the tire. See if that helps.

Brian,

What are your front and rear axle weights? When was your last alignment? Do you have the printout from it and can you tell me what the toe and caster settings were?

Thanks,
