I just had Goodyear G670 tires installed and it handles worse then it use to. I had Michillins and switched to the Goodyear RV tires. The other difference is, after having my motorhome weighed, I went from 95psi in the old tires to 85psi in the new Goodyears. The ride do

Goodyear g670 275 80 22.5 came new on my 2005 Tiffin Phaeton coach. At 20000 miles they were badly out of round causing extreme difficulty driving the coach. Goodyear refused to do anything to adjust the defective tires. I went to Michelins.

The weight/pressure listed is minimum pressure for that weight. The tire pressures must then be adjusted (up only) from this point to finalize the handling characteristics. 85 lbs may be to soft and the tire sidewall is flexing causing the handling problem. If the MH does not seem to turn in (understeer), raise the front pressure. If it seems like the rear end is coming around to quickly (oversteer), raise the rear pressure. Play with the pressures and the handling will come back.
