Quite remarkably they don't know what kind of chassis it is since it is advertised as being a 20,700 (W20) when in fact it's a 26,000 lb (UFO).

I think Winnebago needs a new designer. Personally this model is the ugliest thing I've seen in a long time. What happened to aerodynamics? The front looks like a box car.

BOB: I really like the rounded cabinets, but must agree with my wife about how the interior fabric colors are just too wild. The sofa looks like the seat does not match the back. whatupwiddat?? ED

FWIW, Lazydays ALSO has the chassis wrong on the Itasca LATTITUDE on UFO they have in stock. HERE is a link to that unit. It is also a 39W but the colors and price are different. ED

Actually, I too like the rounded cabinets. It does give it a more modern and/or futuristic look, but why didn't they stay with the rounded exterior instead of the square boxy look?
I can't remember where I saw a new 5th wheel which is built very aerodynamic and has air ride so you could raise and lower it for travel or camping. It actually sits almost right on the ground when lowered. Raises about 20-inches for travel. Real space age look and designed for the wind. Wish I could remember where it was.
Now if Winny would do that...

Just a WAG on my part, but perhaps they used a HUMMER as a design role model. They are quite boxy and "angular". UGLY, too ED

I guess alot of people like it that way but I get a crick in my neck just thinking about watching TV from that couch. I reckon you don't watch TV with the slide closed either.
That is pretty strange, I'd think they would want to use the UFO chassis as a selling point.
What's the towing capacity ot the UFO?

I think that is the shipping weight with options installed not total capacity.

...but ugly in a rugged way, IMO (unlike the Destination).
Looks like I'll have to wait for another manufacturer to decide to use the UFO chassis before I buy (not that I was ready to buy now anyway). The Winnebago just isn't doing it for me.
Although a number of you like the curved cabinets, I don't particularly care for the "Euro-look." Don't like it on the $500,000+ bus conversions either. I prefer things a little more traditional inside. Just a matter of personal taste.
And the front cap, well I just can't find the words to describe it. I know motorhomes aren't very aerodynamic, but that windshield looks to be dead vertical. All those square corners are hard to mold in fiberglass, too. This could lead to a lot of issues like voids under the surface.
The Destination isn't getting very good scores on quality (defects in cloth ceiling, poor fit and finish on cabinets) and interior features (plastic bathroom sink, no day portion on the day/nite shades) over at the Winnebago Forum. A number of people have actually seen it and are comparing it to the lower-priced Sightseer or Vista. The quality issues may just be due to early production and may eventually get up to normally high Winnebago standards, but the lack of features dosen't fit well with the price IMO.

ME TOO!
However, I am ready to buy a UFO based coach-just as soon as the wife finds one SHE
Your other comment about "but ugly" is right on!
