We guys and gals I got my hands on the "Workhorse Designed" fuel filter adapter kit.

If you plan to change you fuel filter you will have NO choice but to buy the Workhorse version or the ORIGINAL version from OEM-Engineering as the old 3 port filter was droped from production last month.

What's in the box?

1) The adapter with a #12 viton "O" ring
2) GF481/652 fuel filter
3) Install Instructions

Here are a couple of close up photo's...

The one I purchased from OEM Engineering looks to be much better quality and I know the personal service was great.

I second that, support the people who are finding the solutions.

1. You will get help if you need it.
2. You won't reward a company for "selling a solution" for a problem they created 7 or 8 years ago.

In general, Workhorse made a good product, but, this was just plain dumb.

Hey Dale, aka Oemtech.

I gotta ask this, when I was on your site earlier in the week to order a tranny filter, I saw that you had a boatload of these things. What happened, did you have to buy a case of them, to get one to look at?

Jim, the fuel filter should be just in front of the rear axle on the drivers side frame rail. Your 2002 model will not require the separate adapter mentioned in this thread. I use the Fram brand thats available at Walmart.

Just curious - what is the MSRP for the Workhorse version?

Oh come on Dale, give us a hint Prices for everything else is posted here so what's so special about a WH fuel flyer adaptor? If the price embarrasses, they deserve it.

If Dale can't because he is a sponsor, someone else can or Ill call K&C RV and I'll share my knowledge with my forum buddies.
They might be on "backorder" tho.

Looks like Workhorse realized no one was buying their High Priced 3 port filter so they had to discontinue them. Instead they copied an existing adapter and will be selling them at a High Price.
