Newbie needs Workhorse chassis information

I just had a Fleetwood Southwind 37C looked over by local dealer before I purchase it. The ABS dash light comes on every once in a while. The tail lights had a blown fuse could this have caused the ABS light? This dealer I took it to can not work on chassis. Please advise.
Thanks

doublehooked, What year chassis is this vehicle. If you can get the last 8 digits on the VIN# I can give you a little insight as to the service history.

With a tail light fuse blown that would not be related to an ABS lamp being lit. If the ABS lamp is intermittent that would be an indication that one of the sensors at the wheel ends is in need of cleaning and adjustment.

Have the dealer pull all the sensors, clean them, lube them and reinstall. This fix 90% of the problems. If that fails have them check the sensors with an ohm meter. A bad sensor will fix probably another 8%. The last 2% or so will be the ABS Tone ring or worst case the ABS "brain".
