Late Dec. 2010 had brake recall work performed at Bloomington, IL Cummins Cross Point. They discovered I had faulty wheel bearings. I authorized replacement.
Drove 231 miles home with new wheel bearings. Loaded the coach and left for Texas, another 1300+ miles.
Arrived in TX and discovered smoke billowing from rear wheel wells. Called an emergency road service. It was determined my wheel bearing seals were leaking.
Called Workhorse and they sent me to Bert Ogden, Mission, TX, an authorized Workhorse Center.
Bert Ogden said Workhorse would not reimburse me for my costs for replacement. Called Cummins Crosspoint in Bloomington and they said Workhorse would stand behind the faulty seals. At Cummins request I sent all paper work to them.
They, in turn, turned everything over to their Workhorse Rep.
That was in January, 2011.
I have had promisies from Workhorse and Navistar that they will contact Bert Ogden for my refund. I have been told I will be called by Workhorse and my phone has not rang. I wrote a letter to Workhorse telling what I have written here and asking for help. No response.
Has anybody else out there had such problems with Workhorse? If so, how did you get it resolved?
My next step will either be an advocacy group or a law firm. This has gone on too long.
