I've already put up that information in the Winnebago Forum. WGO has also dropped the FRED and the W20D front diesels as well.

The options are an FCCC RDP and a front engine gas Ford.

Sorry I noticed that after my post.
Are any of the other manufactures following Winnebago?

Too bad Wc could not come up with a replacement gas engine.

You bet! That said, I do expect that something is going to come out of the Skunk Works soon!

Looks like Navistar reserved some of its remaining 8.1s for its new Monaco division 2011 product line. Introducing the 2011 Monaco Monarch motorhome - Features

Greg, Verrrry Interesting! Artie Johnson would say. I am not at all sure, what's up with that.

Greg, you are right. As soon as I read the original post I started to look around at other companies and Monaco is the only one I could find that offers the Workhorse 8.1 option on their 2011 models. This is interesting and it sure appears that you are right about the Navistar theory.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Workhorse in the next few months. They had better come up with something to take the place of the 8.1 very soon otherwise the Ford chassis will be it.
I wonder if Navistar is going to allow Monaco to continue to make their own Diesel Pusher chassis of if Workhorse is going to make them.
This may be a very good time to buy Ford stock

The Canyon Star 2010 model appears to have the WH option Newmar Corporation – Canyon Star Motorhome > Optional Features | Newmar RV

Can't find anything about the 2011 models. They may have some extra WH chassis in inventory. Greg

RetiredBob, If you can get me a VIN#, I'll check that for you. No doubt at all that the "Coach" will be a 2011.

Driver, perhaps you misunderstood my comment. My 2011 Canyon Star is being built this week on a W22 chassis with 8.1L. Undoubtedly, the chassis was built sometime earlier and the engine in '09.

I'd still like to know what the last 8 digits are.

I believe we are seeing the last of the Mohegans!

I'll pass it on when I take possession, around the end of the month.
