as soon as the engine starts and from the outside only I here a pumping or hissing sound coming from the gas tank. I have a 2005 allegro
30'. Nothing seems to effect the running of the engine or any notices from the computer. I tried removing the gas cap to no avail. If any one else has had this problem any help would be appreciated.

Could this be the normal sound of the electric fuel pump? A high pitch whine?

teddodd, you are probably hearing the fuel pump, which is located inside the fuel tank. If the fuel filter ,located on the left frame rail behind the rear axle, is dirty and partially clogged, the normal noise made by the pump will be louder.
