The GMC / Chevy dealer will have those and they could be Delco units. It's their motor.

Thanks Dale. I tried match up of GM 25312184 and it is a 4 wire connector. OE Denso is three wire..???

Went to CarQuest Auto and they crossed Denso # to 25312184...but it's a mismatch of connectors to OE.

3 wire-4 wire has me baffled.

Pretty straight forward install...just follow the manifolds down and where they start to bend you will see a sensor screwed into a bung. 13/16" open end wrench takes the sensor out, you will want to disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness before unscrewing the sensor. The connector is held in place with a blue catch that slides out and then just lift the tab on the connector and it will slip right off the harness connection.

I'm still working this case for you. I know that the modular connector at the HO2S (Heated O2 Sensor) connector at the sensor has 5 sockets but only 4 positions are used. I was told that it's easy to cross reference to the pickup truck sensors but you do not want to use those.

I'm exhausted reading about O2 sensors .. I will get to the bottom of this today.

My 83 Monte Carlo SS only has a SINGLE... It depends on the heat from the exhaust to get hot enough to get out of Open Loop so the O2 sensor controls things. This type of sensor must be mounted high up in the exhaust system to work.

In the case of the 8.1 the O2 sensors are mounted down stream, therefore they must be "heated" to get the engine out of open loop once the engine reaches operating temp. I would suspect that a 3 wire system is Signal, Ground and 12v.

All the part numbers that I have from various Workhorse documents are 4 wire.

I am sure that Workhorses parts supplier "Uptime Parts" (an oxymoron) would have this item in stock. Now, the cost and getting to you is whole other matter.

In my research this morning I have seen in the Maintenance Manual that on certain gasoline engines used by Workhorse that O2 sensors are positioned Bank1 - Sensor1 and Bank 1 Sensor 2. For these engines they have an O2 sensor before and after the catalytic converter. On Both sides. B2S1 and B2S2.

This schema does not apply on 8.1L configurations but is only included as a conversation item.

Thanks...hold the search..When I put my reading glasses on and got under the rig..with my brain connected..there are four wires into the Denso 02 sensor...

I'll look farther up on engine to see if there is another set of 02 sensors up pipe near the bank..I still have glasses on..

The O2 sensor is a 4 wire heated sensor. The following part numbers may also apply - 2533812, 2131148 & 12572706.
