Question ODBII connector location

Before I go rummaging around under the dog house and so on, can someone give me some direction on where to find the ODBII code reader connector on my GMC Vortec in the W22 chassis?

Don't know about your rig, but most are inside by the steering column under the dash, I believe.

The OBD II is a trapezoid-shaped female connection immediately to the left of the steering column, forward of the round plug which may have a screw-on looking cap, and to the right of the parking brake release "cable". All above is as you're sitting in the driver's seat.

Someone else recently theirs was "hiding" behind some sort of shield, but mine isn't. I locate mine by feeling around in front of my left knee.

Yes Sir, just to the left side and kinda tucked up a little bit. It very well could have a cover on it as well, Mine did! From the edge of the dash going strait back towards the front of the coach it;s only about 3-4 inches and black in color!

OBDII port is within 2 feet of the steering column.
