Dale did your ram air intake cut down on the noise from filter when pulling a grade.
You do good work.

007,

Don't know yet... I will be testing it in the AM. Making a short trip north to COE Park in Belton, Texas. It is currently raining so I might be able to test in wet conditions.

I will also test my Fuel Filter mod... I will be taking on about 60+ gals of fuel as I came home on the Low Fuel Light.

Update:

The ram air "seems" to aid in silencing the air intake noise. Although it was a short trip and I had to force the a 3rd gear run it was AS quite as stock in my opinion and the wife didn't complain about the noise.

I put in 66.5 gals of gas (7 mpg).... The fuel gauge was 1/2 down the red section just above the Empty indicator.

Update 2:

With the air scoop and new plugs I got 8.5 mpg with no toad.

Update 3

I have finally run the rig through some serious rain. I drove through the rain that dropped 7" in Denton, TX (4/24/07) and did not have any problems. As a matter of fact I went through some standing water that was 6" to 8" deep and did not injest any water (the filter was dry).

As for noise... Normal driving I don't even notice anything. When it drops out of O/D still not much noise. 3rd gear at 4 grand you will hear it but not much worst than the original air filter system.

Now that I have about 20k on the rig I got 8.6 on 2 tank fills on my trip from TX to AR and back pulling a Honda CRV.

Does UltraPower, CAI, Ram Air, Plugs/Wires work?
