My oil pressure light will go out even before I start the engine. If fact, several of the lights will go out at the same time. If I turn on the key and wait a few seconds the oil pressure light will go out. Anyone else have this situation?

LSC, No not I sir. Rather unusual, I'd have it looked at by your local service center.

Mine goes out in less than 2 seconds also. Since the oil PSI is at zero with the engine off, it makes wonder if it would light up if the oil pressure dropped while running.

Max, That's a scenario that I don't believe anyone wants to prove. If everyone had to turn over every rock and worry about every little facet of how their vehicle is working it wouldn't be so much fun anymore. I try to worry about the things I can control and no so much about the things I can't.

Max, You said that you would wonder if the oil pressure light would come on if your engine was running? Now that would be a worry in my opinion.
My comments to the OP were he should go have it checked. He's got a brand new rig under warranty and by his description it appears to be something out of the norm. Personally, between now and then, I don't think it's something that needs a lot of worry.

Now I'm 'wondering' if I should be 'worried' Just kiddin, I'm used to the electronics on my WH.
If the OP does have it checked out, my bet is, they will say it is working as designed.
Are you sure yours stays on til the engine is running and the oil psi comes up?

I still think it is designed to light up all the dash light idiot bulbs to make certain they are not burned out.
