Yes, I agree. The local Chevy dealer charges $28.00 each. It is an Allison branded filter, but it comes in an AC/Delco paper box, hence the "special price" ED

I purchased my Allison filters at Valley Power Systems, Inc., City of Industry, CA. for $7.10 + tax. Gallon of TranSynd tranny fluid for $30.88 + tax.

Yeah, my Allison dealer charged me right around $7 too. How about $6.80?

Yep.... You can buy just about everything I have for less someplace. But, do they provide, you with the following, for FREE:
1) A Web Site geared to RVer's?
2) Answer Email's?
3) Answer phone calls?
4) Provide 300 plus photos, on 3 sites, to help you?
6) Provide detailed project documentation?
7) Support this site?
I suggest that you go buy 2 or 3 cases, get TAX id, file DBA papers, open a business account, get charged 3% to 5% for CC usage and few other things and see if you can sell them for $7.
I don't make much in the long run. But, I do enjoy what I do. My wife sometimes looks at me when I sit on the computer for hours answering questions or adding something the web site and is really worth it? It does make you wonder.

I'll probably change my filter here at the beach. Bring Transynd or equivalent fluid.

Dale: like the famous quote from JAWS, I think you're gonna need a bigger boat! You may also want to highlight the "Allison Approved" label on the fluid you'll be pouring.
Best of luck as you continue to serve our needs. ED

Why bother with 1/2 quart containers. Package it as 2 filters and 1 quart of fluid.
