Purchased the Omny's brake bleeders with check valves. Replaced three then noticed the different tip. In the picture below the (new Omny's on top or left) and original on (right or bottom). Will these work ? They seem to seal but want to be sure.

I'm not sure about that. All 4 of my Oemy's Super Duper Speed Bleeders (OSDSB) were the same.

I worked this issue with the builder during the proto type testing. I even got him a caliper for him to test fit the new Speed Bleeders. The bottom line, it does not effect the operation. I have the original proto types on my coach for a few years now and they work as designed.

Yes but they are all the same .... right? At least in the pic and what I have, all look the same. Not sure why the OP would have a different bleeder.

The original 66mm bleeder screws have a FLAT bottom and the Speed Bleeders are POINTED.

Sorry, guess I was confusing in my post. My original 4 bleeders do have a flat bottom. The new bleeders have a point as the picture shows. I want to know if this is OK to use the new ones with the point ??

IF your OSDSBs look like the ones in the picture - "Go for it!"

Wasn't confusing to me. I don't have an opinion, but I do know what you meant. I will probably order them about 2 years down the road from my caliper replacement.

DALE: I am quite sincere when I say you are the expert in these and several other matters...SGII is another prime example, so I'm not being a SA here. But the problem, as I see it, is that "sometimes" you experts think faster than you type...and maybe SYNTAX ain't your strong suit!

Your statement above, if taken literally, makes me ask this rather courious question......If the pointed tip Speed Bleeders "work JUST LIKE the originals"....then what is the purpose in changing the original bleeder screw to the Speed Bleeder design???

I know the Speed Bleeders are a superior design, and that they have a spring and check valve which the "originals" don't, so I hope you see my POINT.

Please consider that there are some of us out here (me included) that are easily confused
Your friend, Ed

They sell them at Autozone. I put them on my 57's. Look on the rack. They come in different sizes

Ed, no harm no foul...

The reason is that is the style blank the OEM starts with. In the case of the 66mm Bosch calipers, getting the correct diameter, depth and thread pitch was the hard part. The OEM had to getting new tooling to roll the tread to the proper sized Speed Bleeder blank. Had the flat bottom been a requirement it could have increase the cost of the product.

You don't have to tighten them every time you release the brake
