Other forms of pressure for WH Brake Problems

I am one of the latest to experience brake lockup with a 2003 w20 chassis on an Winnie Adventurer. I purchased this used Oct 2006 (37600 mi) at which time the dealer / WH service center inspected brakes & replaced pads all around. At 48560 I experienced brake drag/overheating on LF wheel. Upon inspection shop indicated both front rotors indicated overheating, surface cracking and suggested replacement of rotors, pads, seals which was done at a cost of approx $900.
My question having read a LOT of the posts re: lack of action by WH & NHTSA is has anyone enlisted any additional outsied help to exert some pressure on WH?? I plan to file w/ NHTSA but haven't yet as I just picked up the rig today and am on the road. I'm also thinking about contacting the state attorney general office to see if they can assist.

I'm thinking about -
- Good Sams - Publication in Highways Mag would reach a lot of people and might encourage all of those that haven't filed a complaint to do so... maybe they could also lobby NHTSA as an interrested indutry rep?
- State attorneys General - Would a multitiude of states attorneys general have any influence?
- MH Mfgrs - I realize that they are not responsible for chassis problems - maybe a note informing them you will not consider a brand xyz replacement coach as long as they continue to do business w/ WH?

Has anyone employed any of the tactics mentioned above??

I haven't had brake problems with my P-32, at least not yet, so I haven't reported to the NTBS or any where else, but I think you have good ideas. It can't hurt.
I wish all you guys good luck with the brake problem. I just feel lucky that I did'nt get talked into a Damon Challenger on the W-22 because my salesman sure tried.

Actually the NHTSA is the best pressure cooker and they are already looking into it. There is not much that can be done to increase pressure beyond what they can bring.

If you suffer one of the "Workhorse brake failures" just notify them using the form you can download on their web site. and document everything in case they ask

I filed a complaint with the NHTSA and also sent a letter to Winnebago (no response), a letter to Workhorse, (no response), a letter to Motorhome Magazine (no response) and sent a letter to my congressmen and senators (no response). I'd say that pretty much sums up how my brake issue has been handled, from start to finish... oops! my Workhorse dealer did say 'thanks' as he ran my VISA card...

Rick has suggested for us to write our congressman and in some cases I think it may help. There is a thread about it. It cant hurt so I urge you to write your rep.
