My buzzer doesnt come on with the brake set when in neutral. I think it might come on if I had the brake set , and put it in gear. Hmmm, Ill have to check that but the buzzer should'nt be on when you're in neutral. Seems like there was another post with someone else having the same situation.
PS, I vote for 'oldpa'

According to the chassis manual for my '98 the buzzer should only sound when the brake is set and the vehicle is in any position other than park. If the buzzer sounds when in park it is an indication that service is needed. The manual says; low fluid level, worn brake shoes (for parking brake) or cable adjustment (overtravel) as possible causes.
