During our last trip one of the brackets broke that supports the front sway bar . I had about 600 miles till home and it drove fine. I just returned from the shop to have it welded and a front alignment done. The shop did a great job on the welding but informed me that the relay arms and inner tie rod ends need to be replaced. The MH only has 15,600 miles. The shop questioned the mileage and I informed him I bought it new. he said that the inner tie rods are popping and doesn,t typicaly see this until around 60-70k miles. Any ideas out there?.

Mike

They would have to show me the movement or "popping"as they say. Telling me they are bad is one thing but me seeing it with my own eyes is something else. With only 15,600 I would have to see it with own eyes. You can see and feel a bad tie rod. Your call.

Ken, you are right about seeing it, I did feel a jerking in the steering wheel and will look after this trip.

We see issues with the bell cranks, shocks and front springs with the P chassis. Fortunatley we have solutions that not only get rid of your noises but will increase your ride comfort and handling.

An important part of our alignment is the visual inspection. If we find anything defective we will bring you into the shop and show you.

Did you get a printout with your alignment showing the before and after settings?

Thanks,
