Hi from the UK
We have a Damon Daybreak 2001 on a P32 chassis with the Auto Park Brake the one with the yellow knob, when we tried to release the Auto Park Brake it stayed on luckily we were in a petrol station and not on the highway, eventually a friend pulled in and located the emergency release system by withdrawing the cotter and clevis pin from the assembly by the gearbox, as we are in the UK support is very limited what I am looking for is assistance with tracking down what could be the cause, is a wiring diagram available showing the various components, I have read a few post on the subject and it mentions a relay that can be faulty but not its location.

Locate two heavy leads attached to AAPB hydro-motor. Check ground on one. Follow other lead through a harness quick connect and you will probably find the relay ( black, 40 amp ) bound with a zip-tie to the harness and somewhat hidden behind hydro-motor. Good luck!!

We've established contact with the OP.
And, the Chief is correct about tracking the wires to the relay. Sometimes, the house builders also just let the relay dangle on a pigtail - - usually between the pump/reservoir, and the chassis battery. There are other likely locations, but all of them should be within a foot or so of the pump. Just trace the wires as suggested by the Chief.
On the pre 2001 systems, the relay will be found in the AutoPark goody box. Passenger side of coach, up against the frame rail, just aft of the tranny. These are a pretty garden variety of relay - - used for many different applications such as the air conditioning etc. They can usually be purchased off-the-shelf from a decent auto parts store. There are also viable substitutes that have the same blade configuration. Take your old one with you - - An experienced parts guy may very well have a different, but usable relay for what you need.

With the valued assistance of oldusedbear we have now fixed the Auto Parking Brake, replaced one relay and the RGS switch, I cant thank Roger enough for his assistance, finding the parts in the UK is somewhat difficult and expensive, RV is now ready for a trip to Belgium in two weeks time to the World Water Ski Racing Championships.
Once again many thanks Roger

Dead in the driveway. Park break would not release. On the tely, the technician told me to tap on the parkbrake switch/solenoid. It enabled me to get to a dealer, who replaced the Park Motor Switch

We can help you with this - - Email me at oldusedbear@oemys-performance.com
The file sizes of the information you need are way too large for these little boxes on the forum, but we should be able to get you going pretty quickly as soon as we hear from you.
