P32 AutoPark won’t go off
Hi all, thanks for your help with figuring this issue...
So far, I changed the RBS (rotten brown switch) and the relay switch. Neither of those parts fixed the problem. I also used a safety pin to jump the wires and ensure the pump is operational. It is.
I wonder if the issue is a circuit breaker, but I cannot find it. Also, a related issue might be the fact that the yellow parking break switch does not work, and neither do the backup lights. I wonder if all those systems are on the same circuit.
Any insights are greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Check the fluid level in the pump tank.
When you pull the shift lever out of park do you hear the pump run?
You will have the best luck contacting Roger (AKA: Old Used Bear) at rhaag11@charter.net.
Also check at the top of the page on this thread "Workhorse Important Discussions" line #28 Auto Park Brake J 71 for P 32 for a trouble shooting guide.

Thabks for your replies. The reservoir is full. The pump just will not run when shifting from park. I did verify that it is operational by jumping the two large wires that connect to the relay.
It seems like an electrical problem, and I have a hunch there is a fuse that I have been unsuccessful finding. I wonder if this issue is tied to the backup lights and yellow parking brake switch. Those 2 things are also not working all of a sudden.
Thanks!

If you have wiring diagrams for your coach you should be able to tell what each fuse feeds and the location of the fuse. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't found the problem. Now to find the fuse and why it blew in the first place.
Lynn
P.S. Roger should be able to provide you with the diagrams you need if you don't have them.

Change the other switch. There is a RBS, and another switch mounted on the line under the MH. change that switch. That is the switch that turns on the light too.
