Send OEMY a note at admin@oemys-performance.com
I didn't see it on his site but if anyone knows it would be him.
If you find it, please post it for the rest of us. $450 for a bearing - is it gold?

Jack up the chassis and remove the bad bearings and wash them out in solvent. Take them to any bearing supply. They will take the #s off the bearings, cross reference them, and order new ones if they don't have them in stock for 50% less then any parts house.

May I suggest buying the "Serial Parts Book" on CD from Workhorse. Mine for chassis model P31932 prints out at 863 pages (including lots of blank pages). The first column always lists the "O/E Part Number" (Original Equipment) from GM and the next column frequently lists the "Service Part Number" from Work Horse. I have done self maintenance for the last 100,000 miles and found it invaluable. The GM part numbers that I have used from the parts lists were perfect fits.
Unfortunately your Work Horse numbers are not listed in my book. An inquiry to a factory Workhorse service representative may get you a cross reference to an "O/E Part Number" from your Work Horse number.

Tried WH but they directed me to local WH shop who would only supply WH ref number (after pushing), heading off on trip friday and would rather have bearings in hand before i pull the old ones out

Why are you replacing the bearings? Noisy, preventive maintenance?

After emails and unsuccessful phone calls to WH, 'Driver" recommended contacting Redlands Truck & RV , what a contrast to my local (don't bother us) WH dealer.
Spoke to Karen and this lady is knowledgeable regards P32 chassis and is without doubt the most helpful person i have encountered in a long time . If anybody out there needs help or service i would highly recommend Redlands

Jimmyjnr ! The high cost is due to the ABS sensor setup being part of the bearing would be my thought. The pick up coil mounting area can be cleaned and resealed to curer a ABS problem, but a noise bearing requires replacement of the bearings.
Its an insane price, but with out it you fail inspection in many states.
I will check with some of my suppliers and see I can find a better price.

Dick.

Send a message via AIM to oemtech
You can try Mills Supply as they handle lots of stuff for the Workhorse Step Van.
