P32 with Ridewell tag rear - handling issues
I have an 1989 P32 diesel pusher. It has a Ridewell air bag rear suspension with Dexter tag axle. It rides real well except for wind gusts. Don't even feel large trucks as they go by, but the wind makes for a less than enjoyable ride. Since it doesn't have leave springs I don't think it's a tail wagging issue, but I could be wrong. It has new Bilsteins in the front and the Ridewell came with Koni's, but don't know which model. The tag has shocks of unknown origin. It has the factory steering damper and does not wander. Maybe something can be done to the front end ? Any idea's ? Has anyone found that one of those safe steer type devices helps with wind gusts ? I live in California in an area that is frequently quite windy and I always dread the ride home.
