I have a 07' W24 Workhorse chassis under a Dolphin Coach. I have about 3,000 miles on the unit and the right front suspension has started making a popping noise from the area of the front passengers wheel area. I walked along side the coach while the wife drove the coach slowly, rolling both forward and backwards.
I read an earlier post that mentioned simular problems and it was mentioned to lift the coach off the ground and look at the shakels for wear and that there was a "kit" to fix the wear problem. When I looked there, there is nylon spacers in each the front and rear spring shakels.
Is there another possible problem location?

Brad

Mine did the same thing, drove me crazy. I had the spacers also but the springs still popped. I used a can of Quickee step spay grease to lube the ends of the springs and the area around the shackels. It solved my problems, nice and quiet now. Every now and then I re-lube, especilaly after driving in rainy conditions

I'll try that, I'd like to avoid taking it to the shop.

Thanks

Just a sugestion:
Lift your unit with the jacks first. This will allow the lube to get in between the leaves. I also used Castrol Chain Lube. It lasts for about 1 year.

Better yet, I'll do that.

Any time out of the shop is more time for to use it.

Thanks,
B
