Saw this thing in a Gempler's catalog. Though I'd pass it along. I have no idea if it works. It might help those who don't have 120volt power available in storage. http://www.prioritystart.com/

Interesting... Sorta pricey though. I think the problem most RVers have is a slow, steady low-amperage drain from "parasitic" devices. With this device stopping those little suckers right at 11.7 volts, the battery is left alone to 'recover' from it's 30% charged state. In real cold weather, it might not have enough power to start the coach (?)...
I guess what I'm saying is that this device would be more helpful when there were large, higher amperage loads coming off the battery (like headlights). At that point, a quick shut off at 11.7 volts might allow the battery to recover better after a short time. Does that make sense, or am I all wet?

Bookmarked the page but I see a potential issue here.. As Troth said, The big problem for us is a slow and steady "Trickle Discharge". Now some coaches (mine for example) shore power charges chassis batteries.

However on many many rigs this is not the case so you park it 2 or 3 weeks and NOTHING, your starting battery is dead.

A device like this might just stop that slow but steady discahrge in time to save the battery but....

On some vehicles if you disconnect the battery the engine computer "looses it's mind" and resets to an "out of box" status. This requires you to re-train which means that for the next perhaps 100-200 miles the engine will run rough, lower power, lower fuel economy and of course then you park it and start all over.
