Problem with lights

See if you can figure this out before I do.
We took a trip today with toad hooked up. First thing I noticed was both turn signal indicators on the dash came on when I pressed the brake pedal. Next thing I noticed was neither left or right turn signals work. Unplugging the Toad from the motorhome makes no difference. Third thing I noticed was the cruise control won’t engage.
After reaching our destination I started troubleshooting. Can’t check hazard light function, as the hazard switch hasn’t worked for years. All fuses check OK. All lights come on (except backup lights and head lights) when brake is applied. Right front turn signal element of the dual element bulb comes on (steady) with brake applied however on the left side the parking element is lit. In other words the right is much brighter than the left. Haven’t checked the rear yet.

The signal lights may not be working, because what ever crossed circuit you have going is overloading the flasher.
Possible filament in one rear bulb has crossed to the park light circuit.
Remove rear bulbs one at a time , till problem goes away.

Any voltage at all on the brake-light circuit will cause the cruise control to be disengaged.

Problem found. My hazard light switch was on. I didn’t notice because the hazard lights haven’t worked for years.
